Public Services Delivery Scotland (PSD Scotland) invites applications for a Foundation Programme Director (Academic) for S12 FY1 & FY2. This part-time post (1 PA, 4 hours per week) is offered on a fixed-term/secondment basis for 36 months with flexible location within the UK.

The role manages the Foundation Programme and education/training needs, with accountability to the Postgraduate Dean. Recognition of Trainer status and collaboration with existing FPDs are essential;

Qualifications

• Recognised trainer status or equivalent qualifications.
• Experience in medical education and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Foundation Programme S12 for FY1 & FY2.
• Coordinate and deliver educational activities and training needs.
• Collaborate with postgraduate deans and clinical supervisors.
