Job summary

UMass Memorial Health - University Campus in Worcester, MA invites applications for an Academic Foot and Ankle Surgeon to join our Orthopedics and Physical Rehabilitation department. This full-time role combines clinical leadership with medical education in a thriving academic setting.

The successful candidate will contribute to a high-volume foot and ankle program, participate in teaching residents and fellows, and pursue research opportunities within UMass Chan Medical School.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Fellowship training in Foot and Ankle Surgery required.
• Demonstrated interest in academic medicine, including teaching and/or research.
• MD or DO degree with eligibility for Massachusetts medical licensure.
• Commitment to collaborative practice and long-term program growth.

Responsibilities

• Join an established academic department with responsibilities in teaching residents and fellows.
• Provide specialized foot and ankle surgical care within a high-volume program.
• Engage in clinical and basic science research; participate in education.
