Job summary

Marshall University Department of Neurology seeks a full-time board certified/eligible Neurologist with a subspecialty in Epilepsy. Must have or be eligible to obtain a license to practice in West Virginia.

Position involves clinic, hospital, and teaching responsibilities with activity in education of medical students and residents. Ideal candidates will have an interest in academic medicine, a strong desire to teach, and participate in outreach activities related to neurology and epilepsy.

Qualifications

• Medical degree and residency in Neurology required.
• Fellowship in Epilepsy preferred or required for eligibility.
• Candidate will participate in teaching medical students and residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinic, inpatient, and teaching care for neurology and epilepsy patients.
• Participate in general neurology call coverage within a shared system.
• Engage in outreach activities and resident education, plus research as assigned.
