Qualifications

• Board eligible or board certified in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism.
• Must qualify for appointment at Assistant or Associate Professor level.
• Commitment to respect, professionalism and civility with diverse faculty, staff, and students.

Responsibilities

• Teach endocrine fellows’ clinic and endocrinology consultation service; supervise learners and complete evaluations.
• Participate in resident didactic series, noon conferences, morning report, Grand Rounds, and undergraduate endocrine courses.
• Mentor fellows and residents in research and quality initiatives; engage in extramural investigations as PI or co-investigator.
• Provide excellent patient care in general endocrinology in inpatient and outpatient settings; ensure 24/7/365 service coverage.
• Complete administrative duties including billing, documentation, credentialing, and other department requirements.
