Job summary

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City seeks an Academic Clinician at the Instructor level or higher focused on care, education and research in diabetes mellitus in cancer patients. The Endocrinology Service provides inpatient and outpatient care, an ACGME fellowship, and opportunities to participate in trials and biospecimen collection.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent required.
• Board eligible or board certified in Endocrinology.
• New York and/or New Jersey state licensure eligible.
• BLS/ACLS and Child Abuse Identification & Reporting certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clinically evaluate and manage patients with endocrine conditions on inpatient and outpatient services.
• Outpatient focus on diabetes management in cancer patients.
• Advance research by supporting accrual to trials and biospecimen collection.
• Opportunity to participate as PI or co-investigator on internal/external grants.
• Contribute to teaching and research missions, supervising fellows, residents, and students.
• Participate in educational and quality assurance activities.
• Serve on institutional and service committees.
