Job summary

The University of Rochester's Department of Emergency Medicine seeks physician faculty to teach and practice at multiple regional hospitals including Jones Memorial and Strong Memorial in New York. Responsibilities include patient care and teaching of house staff and medical students, with participation in monthly division meetings and instituting committee work.

Employment is contingent on health screening, TB testing, and drug screening, with compensation aligned to experience and hospital

Qualifications

• Candidates must be Board certified (or Board eligible) in Emergency Medicine and have a NYS Medical License.
• If Board Certified (or Board Eligible) in Family Medicine, must have experience and appropriate training in Emergency Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and teach house staff and medical students.
• Participate in monthly division meetings and administrative functions.
• Contribute to institutional committees as requested.
