The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) Department of Emergency Medicine seeks a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to join our teaching hospital. You will provide high-quality, patient-centered emergency care in a collaborative environment and may engage in teaching and academic activities.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent is required.
• Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or ABOEM).
• Eligible for or licensed to practice in Arkansas.
• Demonstrated commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients of all ages.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries.
• Perform emergency procedures consistent with scope of practice.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Support departmental goals related to patient experience, throughput, and clinical excellence.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to ongoing operational improvements.
