Both full and part-time positions are available for those who are dedicated to emergency medicine and resident education. Candidates must have completed a residency in Emergency Medicine and hold ABEM certification or be board-eligible. Qualifications
Candidates must have completed residency in Emergency Medicine.
ABEM certification or Board Eligibility within 3 years is required.
Active Illinois state medical license is necessary.
ACLS certification is required for all providers.
Experience in teaching and academics is preferred.
Responsibilities
Provide compassionate care to the community in the ED.
Involve in teaching residents and resident education/conference.
Engage in scholarly activities and dedicated research.
Handle 40,000 annual ED visits.
Work in the 25-Bed ED with a separate Fast-track zone.
