Elite Sports Academy, serving grades 5–12 in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area, seeks an Academic Director to lead the academic program and oversee the master schedule.

This full-time role is 40 hours per week, mostly on campus, with Fridays for administrative work; remote Fridays possible when appropriate; target salary $70,000–$85,000.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree in Education or related field, 5+ years in secondary education leadership, and experience with PowerSchool.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree preferred in Education or related field.
  • At least 5 years of secondary education leadership experience.
  • Experience with a student information system (PowerSchool preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Lead the academic program for grades 5–12.
  • Maintain academic integrity, rigor, and continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain the school master schedule.
  • Review transcripts, credits, assessments, and academic needs.
  • Oversee graduation planning and diploma readiness.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop teachers.
  • Support strong classroom instruction.
  • Oversee grades and student progress.
  • Manage academic interventions.
  • Address escalated academic concerns.
  • Lead dual and concurrent enrollment implementation.
  • Coordinate teacher qualifications with college partners.
  • Oversee the academic side of NCAA/student-athlete eligibility.
  • Coordinate eligibility records with registrar and athletic staff.
  • Lead accreditation, association, and academic compliance initiatives.
  • Partner with the registrar.
  • Communicate with students, families, and staff throughout the workweek.

Elite Sports Academy — Academic Director
  • Full-time, year-round position
  • 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the academic program for grades 5–12

Qualifications
  • Master’s degree preferred in:
