Qualifications

• DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited USA dental school, with AEGD or GPR
• Current unrestricted Virginia State Dental License
• Minimum 15 years of clinical practice in general dentistry
• Strong communication and team leadership skills; commitment to academic dentistry
• Ability to foster an environment of respect, professionalism and civility toward diverse stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on guidance to dental students and residents during patient examinations and treatment planning.
• Deliver full range of general dentistry including restorative, preventive, oral surgery, prosthodontics and endodontics.
• Develop and deliver lectures, seminars and laboratory sessions on foundational and advanced topics in general dentistry.
• Grade clinical competencies and provide constructive feedback to students and faculty.
