Job summary

Prior fellowship and teaching experience are highly valued. The role is based at Health Sciences Center in Louisville, KY, with a strong emphasis on academic productivity and research.

Qualifications

• Certified/eligible in general surgery or anesthesiology.
• Completed critical care fellowship and eligible/certified in critical care.
• Academic position requires specialty fellowship training and certification.
• Candidate should have teaching and academic productivity goals.

Responsibilities

• Care for critically ill surgical patients in the SICU.
• Train fellows, residents and medical students in critical care.
• Engage in clinical research and teaching activities.
• Collaborate with cardiothoracic, transplant and vascular teams.
