Job summary

The University of Utah seeks a Colon and Rectal Surgeon to join the Section at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank. Board-eligible or board-certified candidates are encouraged to apply and will join a five-surgeon group with PA, residents, and a dedicated fellow.

This 0.90 clinical FTE includes 0.10 time for development in investigation, administration, or education. Leadership and teaching roles may be available within the division, department, or surgical oncology areas.

Qualifications

• Board eligible or board certified in Colon and Rectal Surgery.
• Strong clinical productivity.
• MIS experience (laparoscopy and robotics).
• Ability to work in a collegial manner.
• Support academic and educational mission of the University of Utah.

Responsibilities

• Teach residents and fellows as part of the University of Utah General Surgery Residency Program and Colon and Rectal Surgery Fellowship.
• Provide clinical care in a robust colorectal cancer, IBD, and pelvic floor program.
• Participate in leadership opportunities within the division or department.
• Contribute to investigation, administration, or education during 0.10 FTE.
