Baystate Health in western Massachusetts is seeking a fellowship-trained Colorectal Surgeon to join the Division of Colon and Rectal Surgery. The role offers an opportunity to build an academic and clinical practice within a growing program, collaborating with three fellowship-trained colorectal surgeons and an advanced practice provider.

Candidates with interest in minimally invasive and robotic surgery, IBD, and pelvic floor disorders are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Colon and Rectal Surgery.
• Interest and expertise in minimally invasive and robotic surgery.
• Interest in pelvic floor disorders and inflammatory bowel disease welcomed.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Massachusetts.
• Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence, collaboration, and surgical education

Responsibilities

• Shape the future of a growing division within a high-performing academic health system.
• Become part of a high-volume colorectal surgery practice across cancer, IBD, diverticular and benign diseases.
• Develop expertise in robotic and minimally invasive colorectal procedures.
• Engage in mentorship and professional development with the team of fellowship-trained surgeons.
• Participate in resident and medical student teaching and scholarly activity.
