Job summary

The Enrichery in Bellaire, Texas is seeking a part-time Academic Coach to support Humanities for High School students. This role involves 1-on-1 sessions in private offices at our facility, with a weekly schedule that includes Sundays and a strong emphasis on clear, engaging explanations and student confidence.

Ideal candidates have 4-year university status or degree, will receive onboarding and shadowing, and join a collaborative, mission-driven team that focuses on student success and skill

Qualifications

• Excel at explaining academic content in a clear, engaging way.
• Love building relationships and helping students gain confidence.
• Are attending or have graduated from a 4-year university.
• Are available 15+ hours per week, including at least 4 hours on Sundays (Our session hours: Mon-Fri, 3:00-9:30pm & Sun, 10:00am-6:00pm)
• We handle scheduling so you can focus on teaching.

Responsibilities

• All sessions are 1-on-1 and take place in private offices at our facility - no driving from home to home.
• Consistent hours with recurring weekly sessions within your preferred hours.
• Paid onboarding/training and shadowing with experienced coaches.

Job Description

What We're Looking For:

Academic Coaches who can support K-8 and High School students in a range of Humanities subjects, including:

• Advanced Coursework: AP Literature, AP US History, AP World History
• Test Prep (Preferred): ACT, SAT, ISEE

The Academic Coach Experience:

Consistent hours with recurring weekly sessions within your preferred hours

All sessions are 1-on-1 and take place in private offices at our facility - no driving from home to home
