Job summary

The Enrichery in Houston is seeking Part-Time Academic Coaches to support students across elementary to high school in private, in-office sessions. Scheduling is managed by the company, and paid training is provided for new coaches.

Ideal candidates include current college students or graduates who can commit 15+ hours weekly, including Sundays, and who enjoy teaching Language Arts, Math, Science, History, and test prep in a friendly, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Able to explain academic content clearly and engagingly.
• Available 15+ hours per week, including Sundays.
• Currently enrolled or graduated from a 4-year university.

Responsibilities

• Lead 1-on-1 coaching sessions with students in private offices.
• Support elementary through high school subjects including STEM and humanities.
• Participate in paid training and shadowing with experienced coaches.

What We're Looking For:

Part-time Academic Coaches to support all ages and subject matters at each of our seven locations across the Greater Houston Area.

Academic Coaches who can support Elementary & Middle School students in a range of subjects, including:

• Core Subjects: Language Arts, History, Natural Sciences, Math (incl Alg I)
• Test Prep (Preferred): ISEE

Academic Coaches who can support High School students in a range of STEM subjects, including:

• Test Prep (Preferred): ACT, SAT, ISEE

Academic Coaches who can support High School students in a range of Humanities subjects, including:

• Advanced Coursework: AP Literature, AP US History, AP World History
• Test Prep (Preferred): ACT, SAT, ISEE

The Academic Coach Experience:

• Consistent hours with recurring weekly sessions within your preferred hours
• All sessions are 1-on-1 and take place in private offices at our facility—no driving from home to home.

What you should offer:

• Are available 15+ hours per week, including at least 4 hours on Sundays (Our session hours: Mon–Fri, 3:00–9:30pm & Sun, 10:00am–6:00pm)
