Job summary

Applitrack is seeking a dedicated Para educator to support online learning at the Digital Education Center. The role involves assisting students in online classes to meet instructional goals and maintain progress toward graduation.

Position Purpose

Under the direct supervision of the Online Learning Director, to assist with students inonline classesto meet instructional goals and objectives, and to support in the progression of students toward graduation.

Essential Job Functions

• Assists with monitoring of student progress in online courses.
• Assists in maintaining documents, files and records for the purpose of providing up-to-date reference.
• Assists in timely communication with students and parents.
• Assists in monitoring students inthe computer lab,
• Assists in maintaining inventories of supplies and materials for the purpose of ensuring items' availability.
• Assists in supervising online students in all academic settings.

Additional Duties:

• Perform any other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications Profile:

• High School diploma or equivalent.

Compensation and Work Hours

• 4.5 hours a day
• Support Professional Salary Schedule
• Para educator level E1 - 15.85 per hour (additional pay given for exp. and higher education )
• Non benefit eligible
• This position is paid for with school land trust funds and is dependent on the availability of those funds.
