Job summary

UHA University Health Associates seeks a Child Psychologist at the WVU Medicine Children’s Neurodevelopmental Center in Morgantown, WV. The role involves diagnosing and treating developmental and neurodevelopmental disorders in children, with teaching responsibilities across medical students and residents.

The candidate will work in an interdisciplinary team and may participate in research and outreach initiatives across WVU’s hospital system.

Qualifications

• PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology from an APA/CPA-accredited program with an APA/CPA-approved internship and post-doctoral training in neurodevelopmental disabilities.
• Immediately eligible for licensure in West Virginia.
• Strong focus on evidence-based strategies for evaluation and treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders.
• Work within WVU Medicine Children's Neurodevelopmental Center with patients aged 0–15.

Responsibilities

• Practice in Child Psychology focusing on developmental disabilities and neurodevelopmental disorders.
• Teach medical students, residents, and psychology graduate students/fellows.
• Engage in clinical, teaching/supervision, and research activities in the NDC.
• Collaborate across interdisciplinary clinics and contribute to outreach and training for families and statewide providers.
