RWJ Barnabas Health is seeking an Academic Chief of the Division of Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. The leader will advance research, recruit and develop faculty, and promote scholarly activity across the RWJBarnabas/Rutgers Health System.

Qualifications

• Must hold an MD or MD/PhD with board certification in pulmonary medicine.
• Eligibility for appointment to Associate Professor or Professor at Rutgers University.
• Demonstrated track record in leading clinical, educational, and translational research programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead division of Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine within RWJMS.
• Drive growth in research, faculty recruitment and development, and scholarly activity.
• Advance clinical care, teaching, and training across the RWJBarnabas/Rutgers Health System.
• Foster interdisciplinary collaboration and translational research.
• Mentor junior faculty and engage community physician leaders to enhance patient care delivery.
