Banner University Medicine Tucson seeks a fellowship-trained radiologist to join the Division of Cardiothoracic Imaging. The candidate will provide expert clinical CT/MR chest imaging and educate residents and fellows, while collaborating in interdisciplinary conferences and research initiatives.

Applicants for Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or full Professor will hold an MD or DO, ABR Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology, fellowship in Cardiothoracic Imaging, and licensure

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• ABR Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology
• Fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Imaging
• Licensed to practice in Arizona

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a strong academic division that provides comprehensive clinical service with a spirit of innovation as an engine for growth, value, and service
• Reads Cardiac CTA, Cardiac MRI, Coronary CTA, TAVR, LAA occlusion device imaging, Chest Radiographs, Chest CT, Chest MRI, and Cardiac MR
• Participate in weekday clinical work and weekday/weekend call coverage while ensuring the delivery of timely, high-quality clinical care
• Collaboration with colleagues to improve service and quality to for the betterment of our patients
• Provide instruction for the Residency, Fellowship and Medical Student educational programs by preparing and reviewing cases
• Participate in interdisciplinary conferences, conferring with other services concerning issues affecting Medical Imaging
• Support innovative research and serve as a willing collaborator with clinical and translational researchers
