Job summary

University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center is seeking a Physician in Cardiology to join our department. The appointment level is Clinical Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or full Professor, commensurate with experience.

The role provides direct medical evaluation, diagnosis, procedures, and care for a defined patient population, with opportunities for teaching medical students and residents and potential leadership of a program.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in medicine with an unrestricted license.
• Appointment with CWRU SOM at a level commensurate with experience.
• Fellowship training in some specialty areas.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care including examinations, evaluations, diagnoses and treatment for a defined patient population.
• Prescribe medications and treatment regimens as appropriate.
• Refer patients to specialists and relevant care components.
• Train and supervise medical students and residents.
• May manage daily operations of a medical program or unit.
• Direct and coordinate patient care activities of nursing and support staff.
