Job summary

The University of Washington invites applications for a physician Hospitalist and/or Nocturnist in the Division of Cardiology, Department of Medicine, UW Medicine. This full‑time clinical faculty position from Clinical Instructor to Clinical Assistant Professor supports teaching and service in a diverse academic community.

Base salary range is $13,834-$33,333 per month, with a TPS of $6,166 monthly and potential moonlighting opportunities.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent) and be board certified/eligible in internal medicine or cardiovascular diseases.
• USMLE steps completed for visa sponsorship (for graduates of foreign medical schools) as required by UW.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full spectrum of inpatient cardiology patients, including general and interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, and advanced heart failure.
• Work in collaboration with cardiologists and advanced practice providers; supervise residents.
• Handle a flexible mix of day and night shifts; participate in teaching and supervision in an academic center.
