Job summary

State University of New York at Buffalo is seeking an Academic Scholar – Critical Care to join their Pediatric Critical Care Medicine division. You'll provide clinical care to critically ill children, focusing on cardiac critical care, and support the education of advanced practice providers and residents.

The ideal candidate will be board-certified in Pediatrics and have expertise in Cardiac Intensive Care. This role includes significant mentorship responsibilities and participation in educational programming.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Pediatrics and Board-certified/board-eligible in Pediatric Critical Care (BC/BE).
• Significant experience in Cardiac Intensive Care and/or completion of a Cardiac Intensive Care Fellowship.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care to critically ill children focusing on cardiac critical care.
• Support education and training of advanced practice providers (APPs) and junior faculty.
• Mentor junior faculty and fellows in clinical rotations.
