Job summary

CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center – Bergan Mercy in Omaha, NE, is seeking an Anesthesiologist to join a 23-attending and 27-CRNA team within a new residency program launching in 2026. You’ll provide perioperative anesthesia care in a high-acuity environment and participate in education and research activities.

You will collaborate with surgeons and nursing staff while mentoring residents and SRNAs, contributing to patient safety and clinical excellence in a nationally respected

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology Residency.
• Board certified or board eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Nebraska.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthetic care across a full spectrum of surgical services.
• Supervise and mentor CRNAs, anesthesiology residents, medical students, and SRNAs.
• Collaborate with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, evidence-based anesthesia care.
• Contribute to curriculum development, quality improvement, and mentorship initiatives.
