Job summary

UMass Memorial Health in Worcester, MA is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Academic Anatomic Pathologist to join the Department of Pathology. This physician-only role offers opportunities to participate in teaching, research, and quality initiatives within a busy tertiary/quaternary care system in Central Massachusetts.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality anatomic pathology services across a broad spectrum of subspecialties while supporting patient care and education.

Qualifications

MD or DO degree required.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anatomic Pathology (AP or AP/CP).
Eligibility for Massachusetts medical licensure.
Interest in academic medicine and collaboration.
Willingness to teach residents and fellows.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality anatomic pathology services across subspecialties.
Support patient care, education, and quality initiatives.
Engage in teaching, precepting, or mentoring students, residents, or fellows.
Participate in academic appointments and teaching opportunities.
