Job summary

SSM Health SLUCare Physician Group is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Allergist/Immunologist to join the expanding Division of Allergy & Immunology in Saint Louis University Hospital's academic health system.

The successful candidate will provide outpatient care for adults and adolescents, supervise trainees, and participate in clinical research or quality improvement projects. Leadership opportunities within the division and program development are encouraged.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Allergy & Immunology fellowship.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Allergy & Immunology.
• Eligibility for Missouri medical licensure.
• Strong interest in academic practice, including teaching and scholarly activity.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality outpatient care in Allergy & Immunology for adult and adolescent populations.
• Diagnose and manage allergic and immunologic conditions, including asthma and food allergy.
• Perform and interpret allergy testing (skin, patch, PFTs, challenges).
• Provide immunotherapy services and guide advanced therapies.
• Participate in teaching activities for fellows, residents, and medical students.
• Contribute to scholarly efforts, including clinical research, QI projects, publications, or educational innovation.
• Collaborate across departments to support comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in shared call responsibilities within the division.
