Georgia Tech in Atlanta seeks an Academic Advisor to provide guidance to undergraduate and graduate students regarding their academic progress. Key responsibilities include maintaining student records, preparing assessment reports, and interacting with faculty and parents.
Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, along with four to five years in a related role. This position requires flexibility in service delivery hours and may involve overnight travel.
Provide information and counsel to undergraduate and graduate students within an assigned area regarding their academic pursuits and progress. Prepare and maintain associated student records. Usually concentrate in graduate programs or specialized academic area. May provide work direction to Academic Advisor Is and administrative support staff. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: students, parents and faculty, staff. This position typically will advise and counsel: students.

SQL Skills: This job requires knowledge of advanced university level academic program requirements and related administrative processes within assigned area. Also required are verbal, written and interpersonal communications skills and basic computer skills.
