Job summary

Deutsche Bank AG in New York seeks an ABS US Associate to lead origination, structuring, syndication and execution of ABS and asset finance transactions. You will manage deal execution from client acquisition to documentation, risk management, structuring and closing securitizations.

The role demands strong modeling, collateral analysis and market knowledge, with a hybrid work model in NYC. Collaboration with internal/external counsel, investors and rating agencies is essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, science, engineering or computer science is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in ABS/RMBS structuring.
  • Extensive experience with collateral analysis and cashflow modeling.
  • Familiarity with transaction documents review and rating agency methodologies.
  • Excellent Excel skills; VBA coding a strong plus.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and report on warehouse risk exposure.
  • Obtain internal risk management approvals (credit, legal, regulatory, accounting).
  • Perform cash flow scenario analysis; develop analytical modeling tools; determine securitization capital structure and optimization.
  • Lead preparation of securitization marketing materials and respond to investor DD requests.
  • Interact with internal/external counsel, investors, rating agencies, risk management, and trustees.
  • Lead acquisition and negotiation of credit facilities; coordinate with investment committee.

The role focuses on leading the origination, structuring, syndication and execution of ABS new issue and asset finance transactions in the mortgage and real estate sectors.
