Job summary

ABRA Auto is seeking an Auto Glass Technician to perform windshield and glass repairs or replacements in our shop or at customer sites. You will install glass, calibrate ADAS systems, and ensure installations meet factory specs and industry standards.

You will interact with customers to ensure satisfaction, process mobile payments, and maintain a professional appearance while working in varying weather conditions and traffic.

Qualifications

• Experience installing windshields and auto glass.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in hot or cold weather.

Job description

The Abra Auto Glass Technician is responsible for glass repairs or replacement on all assigned vehicles in accordance with industry standards and factory specifications.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Installing windshields and auto glass in our shop or from a mobile operation unit

• Calibrate vehicle electronics such as ADAS systems, Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Alert, etc. • Observing and assisting Repair chips and other glass damage

• Interact with customers to ensure customer satisfaction with a job well done

• Process payments from mobile customers

• Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

• Must be able to maneuver around vehicles to position yourself safely during installations

• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning

• Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary

• Must have a valid driver’s license

• Must be over 18 years of age

• This position involves driving duties that will be monitored and recorded by a telematics device to ensure safety and compliance.
