Job summary

Phillips Tank and Structure is seeking a Bolted Tank/Aluminum Dome Mechanic to perform installation, inspection, and repair of above-ground storage tanks and domes on site in Kentucky. You’ll handle non-welded assemblies, operate power tools, and follow detailed drawings and safety plans.

Requirements include strong communication, reliability, a valid driver’s license, and willingness to undergo background checks and drug testing. Welding is a plus and training is provided where needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Willingness to drug test pre-hire and on occasion.
• Welding ability is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks related to above-ground storage tank seal and dome installation, inspection, and repair.
• Perform non-welded tank apparatus installation, inspection, and repair.
• Operate safety equipment and power tools on site.
• Set up and operate generators and air compressors.
• Follow drawings, technical documents, and safe work plans.
• Assist in material receiving, inspection, and inventory.
• Maintain a clean and orderly job site and participate in safety trainings.
• Other duties as assigned.
