Target Optical is seeking an experienced Optician to drive sales and deliver exceptional Guest service in a fast-paced retail environment. You will fill prescriptions, fit lenses and frames, and contribute to high guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• ABO Certification required.
• 2+ years of experience in Retail Optical.
• Basic computer skills.
• Independent and self-motivated.
• Strong sales and communication skills.
• Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Drives profitable store sales by fostering a retail selling culture.
• Develops professional business relationships with team members.
• Fills ophthalmic eyeglasses, fits and adapts lenses/frames.
• Ensures high quality/timely product fabrication.
• Verifies visual acuity and prescriptions.
• Measures pupillary distances and progressive placements.
• Selects frames based on facial features and measurements.
• Fits and adjusts eyewear for comfort and fit.
• Dispenses contact lenses and other eye care products.
