We are seeking a highly skilled and collaborative Abdominal Transplant Surgeon to join our team and provide clinical expertise in the recovery, assessment, preservation, and utilization of abdominal organs for transplantation.

This role will work closely with the organ procurement organization (OPO) leadership, recovery surgeons, transplant programs, donor hospitals, and multidisciplinary clinical teams to evaluate organ quality, support recovery decisions, and identify opportunities to safely maximize organ utilization.

We are seeking a board-certified abdominal transplant surgeon with excellent clinical judgment, strong communication skills, and a passion for innovation and collaboration. We are looking for a physician who is comfortable practicing in a complex, rapidly evolving environment and who values the opportunity to influence outcomes not only for individual patients, but for the broader transplant community. Preferred 5 years of transplantation experience, ability to recover kidneys, liver, pancreas and intestines, ability to aid in organ cannulation for external pump devices and experience in cannulation for normothermic regional perfusion (NRP).
