Job summary

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years manufacturing experience, strong communication and math skills, and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Proficiency with Windows tools and GMPs is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; college degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare abattoir blood and tissue products according to established bath records and work orders.
• Research and investigate animal anatomy via references to determine course of action for specific harvests.
• Maintain lot number, batch and equipment logs.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of inventory records.
• Order inventory and supplies as needed.
• Ensure operations comply with procedures, work instructions and GMPs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Observe safety regulations and practices.
• Communicate effectively to maintain in-house customer relations.
• Assist in cross-training of technicians and other manufacturing operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
