Job summary

Paramount Rehabilitation Services in Bridgeport, MI, is seeking an on-call ABA Patient Transporter to safely transport adolescent clients to therapy sessions. Availability is Monday through Friday, 7am–7pm, with duties including maintaining logs, ensuring comfort and safety, and communicating with parents, therapists, and supervisors

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to pass background check and drug/alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, reliable transportation for clients following assigned routes and schedules.
• Ensures comfort and safety at all times.
• Maintains a calm, supportive environment during transport.
• Communicates effectively with parents/guardians, therapists, and supervisors regarding pick-ups and drop-offs.
• Documents transportation logs, mileage, attendance, and any notable safety concerns.
• Inspects and ensures cleanliness and safety of the transport vehicle and keeps it fueled and well maintained.
• Follows all safety, HIPAA, and confidentiality guidelines when handling client information.

Basic Job Function:

An ABA Patient Transporter supports our ABA therapy program by safely transporting adolescent clients with autism or developmental disabilities. Transportation will be to and from therapy sessions. The role blends safety, professionalism, and an understanding of behavioral needs. We are looking to someone to be an "on-Call" driver with availability from 7am-7pm Monday-Friday.

Company van provided for transportation of Paramount adolescent clients.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
