Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one ABA support in home- or community-based settings in South Los Angeles. You will work with children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and related needs, under the guidance of Board Certified Behavior Analysts.

You will help clients build social and communication skills, follow Behavior Intervention Plans, collect progress data, and create engaging, structured sessions. Competitive pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with individuals with special needs.
• Strong communication skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Either completed college coursework in psychology/education/behavioral science or at least one year of relevant experience.

• Help individuals build social and communication skills.
• Support families by addressing repetitive or restrictive behaviors.

What You Bring

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Either:
  • Completed college coursework in psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, or human development; or
  • At least one year of experience working with children as a Child Development professional, Camp Counselor, Paraprofessional, Behavioral Interventionist, ABA Therapist, or Behavior Technician
