Job summary

BehaviorCare Therapy is seeking paraprofessionals in North Phoenix to deliver 1:1 ABA therapy in the homes of children with autism. The role offers part-time afternoon/evening hours, with consistent placement with the same client, supervised by a BCBA.

You will help kids build daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence through play-based ABA, tracking progress with simple data tools and receiving training and support.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a care or education setting.
• ABA experience is a plus for therapy delivery.
• Availability for afternoon/evening hours and flexibility.
• Reliable transportation to client homes.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with kids in their homes using play-based ABA techniques.

Looking to pick up flexible part-time hours to supplement your current job or school schedule? This could be the perfect fit. We’re hiring Paraprofessionals to work with children on the autism spectrum in their homes during afternoon and evening hours.

As an RBT/BT at BehaviorCare Therapy, you’ll be working directly in the homes of families, providing 1-on-1 support to children with autism or developmental delays. Your job is to help them build daily living skills, communication, independence, and confidence — all through play-based ABA therapy designed by a licensed BCBA.

You’ll work with the same children consistently, helping them make real progress in their everyday environments — whether that’s helping a 3-year-old learn to request snacks or helping a 7-year-old stay focused through a morning routine.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where your patience, energy, and creativity can make a lasting difference. Every child is unique, and you’ll get the training and support to meet them where they’re at.

What You'll Do:

• Team up with your BCBA and fellow techs to keep things consistent and effective — you're never doing this alone
• Give feedback to families about how the session went and celebrate small wins together!

Requirements:

• Experience working with children (SPED Para, 1:1 Aide or Classroom Aide, after-school programs, caregiving, autism.)
• ABA experience a plus!
• Afternoon/evening availability (weekends a plus)
• Reliable transportation
• Must pass a background check

$21 - $26 an hour
