Job summary

Big Minds, Tiny Hands in the NYC area is seeking ABA Providers to deliver in-home and remote Telehealth ABA therapy to children with developmental needs, with a focus on Early Intervention.

You will assess families, coordinate with the care team, and support children aged 0–3, with a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have a Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Current LMSW, LCSW, or RN licensure or equivalent certification.
• Special Educator background (Birth-Grade 2) preferred.
• Ability to deliver in-home and Telehealth ABA therapy.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home and community-based ABA therapy.
• Evaluate psychological state and family dynamics.
• Assess parent-child interactions and provide counseling.
• Consult with the care team on patient progress.
• Work with children ages 0-3 and adapt sessions as needed.
• Offer Telehealth ABA therapy when required.

The Role

Big Minds, Tiny Hands is looking for ABA Providers to provide Home Base / Remote Care (Telehealth Services) Therapy sessions to children with special needs in the NYC area.

ABA Therapists Responsibilities

• Provide in-home and community-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy
• Evaluates the psychological situation of the patient and family
• Evaluates the living condition and patterns of parent-child interaction
• Provides individual and family-group counseling with parents and other family members
• Consult with other team members regarding the patient's progress
• Ability to work closely with children between the ages of 0-3
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, around the needs of the client
• (Temporarily for COVID-19) provide Remote Care-Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy via Telehealth services

ABA Therapists Qualifications

• Licensed Master Social Workers (LMSW)
• Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW)
• Special Educators (Birth-Grade 2)
• Registered Nurse (Licensed Registered Nurse)
• Must Have a Master's Degree
• Must be Licensed or Certified
