Job summary

Kid Clan Services, Inc. is seeking compassionate Behavior Technicians to support individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities under BCBA supervision.

You will implement individualized ABA plans, deliver one-on-one instruction, and collect progress data in homes, schools, and community settings. This role focuses on teaching functional skills, collaborating with the BCBA and interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring consistent delivery of interventions.

Responsibilities

• Collect data on client progress and behavior using designated data collection tools.
• Assist clients in acquiring functional skills across communication, socialization, self-care, and independent living.
• Foster a supportive learning environment to promote engagement, motivation, and independence.
• Collaborate with BCBA and team to review progress and adjust strategies as needed.
• Communicate progress updates with clients, families, caregivers, and team members.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development in ABA.

ABA Therapist Position Overview:

We are seeking compassionate and motivated individuals to join our team as Behavior Technicians. In this role, you will work directly with clients under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized behavior intervention plans and teach essential life skills in various settings, including homes, schools, and community settings. Behavior Technicians play a crucial role in delivering evidence-based interventions, collecting data, and supporting clients in achieving their goals.

ABA Therapist Responsibilities:

• Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by the BCBA to address clients' specific needs and goals.
• Provide one-on-one direct instruction to clients using applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques, including discrete trial training (DTT), naturalistic teaching strategies, and behavior management techniques.
• Collect data on client progress and behavior using designated data collection tools and methods.
• Assist clients in acquiring and practicing functional skills across various domains, including communication, socialization, self-care, and independent living.
• Foster a supportive and positive learning environment for clients, promoting engagement, motivation, and independence.
• Collaborate with the BCBA and interdisciplinary team members to review client progress, adjust intervention strategies as needed, and ensure consistency across settings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, caregivers, and other team members, providing updates on progress and sharing relevant information.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in the field of applied behavior analysis.
