Job summary

Heartland ABA is seeking a part-time Support Professional for Autism to provide one-on-one ABA services in clients' homes and community settings in Albia, IA. No prior experience is required as paid training is provided, and a 6-month commitment is encouraged to support lasting outcomes for children with Autism.

The role emphasizes compassion, patience, and the ability to engage families while following evidence-based interventions and supervision from the clinical team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to learn and passionate about helping children with Autism.
• Patience, compassion, and the ability to maintain a calm demeanor in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients, using evidence-based interventions.
• Serve as an integral member of our clinical team, responsible for the direct implementation of skill-building and care plans.
• Record session data accurately using electronic devices.
• Foster a positive learning environment for clients and connect with families.
• Services provided in clients' homes or in community-based locations.
