Job description

Magin Behavioral Therapies is looking for Behavior Technicians in the OC Region.

Job Type: Full-time. Pay: $25.00–$27.00 per hour. Schedule: Monday to Friday (12PM–8:30PM) with weekend availability.

Behavior Technicians work under the direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and apply behavioral intervention plans to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, and other disabilities. They work and collaborate with families to help support their child in reaching their fullest potential at home and in the community. Magin offers ongoing support and growth opportunities for its staff.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with clients following individualized ABA treatment plans for children and adolescents with autism in the home and community settings.
• Provide the client’s families with parent training to expand the client’s advancement opportunities.
• Receive ongoing support and supervision in the field by BCBA level staff.

Qualifications

Required:

• Active Registered Behavior Technician Certification
• Minimum high school diploma
• Valid California driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Pass an FBI/DOJ clearance

Preferred experience:

• BA in Psychology, Child Development, Communication Disorders, Education or related field.
• Experience with children with autism.
• Any experience working with children such as school, daycare, early intervention, school aid, etc.
• Relevant educational background in Applied Behavior Analysis, Behavior Science, Child Development, Counseling, etc.

Work Environment

The employee performs duties mainly in client homes or clinical settings. The noise level is typically low to moderate. The employee is required to drive between home and client sites as well as the office from time to time. Mileage between clients is paid.
