Job summary

Lighthouse ABA in the Whitsett/Greensboro area seeks a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a part-time, in-home role supporting a child with autism. Sessions are 10 hours weekly, Wednesdays and Thursdays 12:00 PM–5:00 PM, all in the client's home with mileage reimbursed.

Under BCBA supervision, you will deliver one-on-one ABA therapy, follow an individualized plan, collect data, and maintain documentation. Consistent availability on Wednesdays and Thursdays is required.

Qualifications

• RBT certification in good standing through the BACB.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous ABA therapy experience or familiarity with autism spectrum preferred.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Comfortable providing services in a family's home.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Lighthouse is seeking a dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for a specific part-time opening in the Greensboro area. You will provide one-on-one ABA therapy to a young child with autism under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, joining an existing team already supporting this client.

This is a defined, consistent schedule — not an on-call or variable role.

This position covers a fixed 10 hours per week:

• Wednesdays, 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
• Thursdays, 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM

All sessions take place in the client's home, in the Whitsett area of eastern Guilford County — a short drive east of Greensboro. Mileage is reimbursed.

We are only able to consider applicants who are consistently available on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. If your availability is evenings or weekends only, this particular role will not be a fit — but we encourage you to apply to our other openings.

Responsibilities

• Implement ABA therapy techniques under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), within the RBT scope of practice
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, following an individualized treatment plan
• Teach and reinforce appropriate social, communication, and behavioral skills in a supportive and structured environment
• Foster a positive and engaging therapeutic relationship, promoting independence and well-being
• Collect data and track progress to ensure effective treatment outcomes
• Collaborate with the BCBA and the other technician on the case to review progress and adjust as needed
• Communicate effectively with parents/caregivers on goals, progress, and carryover strategies
• Maintain accurate and detailed session documentation
• Maintain your RBT credential in good standing, including ongoing supervision and renewal requirements
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development

Requirements
