Job summary

Heartland ABA in Adel, IA seeks a Child Development & ABA Specialist (RBT) to join a dedicated clinical team delivering one-on-one ABA services in clients’ homes or community settings. RBT certification is required prior to work, with paid training and a focus on positive behavioral outcomes for children with Autism.

Position is part-time, offering flexibility and opportunities to advance within a thriving ABA practice. You will record progress data and collaborate with families to support goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• RBT certification is required before working.
• Willingness to learn and passionate about making a difference for children with Autism.
• Patience, compassion, and the ability to maintain a calm demeanor in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA services to clients, using evidence-based interventions supporting independence and positive behavior.
• Serve as an integral member of our clinical team, responsible for the direct implementation of skill-building and care plans.
• Record session data accurately using electronic devices.
• Foster a positive learning environment for clients and connect with families.
