Children's Specialized ABA is seeking a detail-oriented ABA Credentialing Specialist to support credentialing and re-credentialing across our organization.

The role manages credentialing processes for professionals in the Behavioral Health and ABA field, ensuring compliance with payer requirements and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate has experience with authorizations, medical insurance, billing, or credentialing and can manage multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in authorizations, medical insurance, billing, claims processing, credentialing, or related healthcare administrative function.

Responsibilities

• Manage credentialing and re-credentialing for ABA professionals, ensuring compliance with state, federal, insurance, and organizational requirements.
• Verify and maintain credentials for BCBA, licensed ABA professionals, and other practitioners.
• Communicate with providers and insurance payers to obtain information and resolve items.
• Review and process documentation for initial credentialing and re-credentialing applications.
• Maintain credentialing records within the EHR system.
• Follow up on missing documentation, expirations, renewals, and deadlines.
• Respond to credentialing inquiries with timely status updates.
• Assist providers with credentialing profiles and payer portals.
