Job summary

RightWay ABA in New Jersey furnishes in-home and center-based therapy for children aged 2–18. The organization offers training and support for a Behavior Technician (BT) to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT).

As a Behavior Technician (BT), you will implement ABA treatment plans under BCBA supervision, help develop communication and daily living skills, and contribute to data collection and progress tracking while upholding BACB ethics.

Behavior Technician (BT) Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collect accurate, real‑time data on client progress.

Session Preparation & Documentation

• Prepare materials needed for therapy sessions.
• Maintain detailed session notes and documentation according to company and insurance standards.
• Track skill acquisition and behavior trends using data‑collection software.

Collaboration & Communication

• Communicate regularly with supervising BCBAs about client progress and challenges.
• Participate in team meetings, trainings, and supervision sessions.
• Provide feedback to caregivers when appropriate and under BCBA guidance.

Professional Conduct

• Follow ethical guidelines set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
• Uphold client confidentiality and professional boundaries.
