Job summary

Intercept Health in Virginia is seeking an ABA Behavior Technician III for our center-based program. This part-time role delivers direct behavioral therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults with autism or developmental disabilities, aiming to build language, social, and daily living skills.

The role requires at least a high school diploma; ABA coursework, RBT credential (or plan to obtain within 2 months); Bachelor's preferred.

Qualifications

• The candidate will have at least a high school diploma and experience working with children.
• Bachelor's degree in a behavioral science is preferred (e.g., psychology, sociology, counseling).
• ABA experience or coursework is preferred; must be in or have completed approved ABA course sequence.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct behavioral therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults with autism or developmental disabilities.
• Promote language, behavioral, social, and daily living skills in a center-based program.
• Develop programs for 4–8 clients under supervision of a BCBA.

This position is Part Time only

Direct Care pay: $26/hour

Indirect Care pay: $18/hour

As an ABA Tech III, you will be responsible for direct behavioral therapy with children, adolescents, and young adults with autism, intellectual disabilities, or other developmental disabilities in our center based program and promote language, behavioral, social, and daily living skills. Responsible for program development of 4-8 clients under supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Education and Experience Required

The selected candidate will have at least a high school diploma and experience working with children. Bachelor's degree in a behavioral science such as psychology, sociology, counseling, applied behavioral science, etc. is preferred. Specific experience with children who have Autism, intellectual or developmental disabilities, or ABA experience preferred. Must be in or completed approved course sequence for ABA. Must have a signed contract with Intercept supervisors for fieldwork hours.

Additional Requirements

Must possess a current registered behavior technician credential and be in good standing or must successfully complete a 40-hour class, competency assessment, and exam to become a registered behavior technician within 2 months of hire.
