Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Behavior Technician to work one-on-one with children and adolescents with autism and developmental disabilities in a flexible part-time role in Los Angeles, CA. You will help build communication and daily living skills while following ABA treatment plans created by BCBA supervisors, with ongoing mentorship and paid training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with children preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• CPR/BLS Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Compassionate, patient, dependable, and eager to learn.
• Comfortable using technology for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children and adolescents with autism and developmental disabilities.
• Help clients build communication, social, play, and daily living skills.
• Implement ABA behavior Treatment plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
• Encourage progress and celebrate meaningful milestones.
• Track client progress using a mobile application.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, supervisors, and families to support client success.
