Aura Health is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide one-to-one behavioral intervention services for individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other behavioral conditions in Pasadena, CA.

The role involves implementing behavioral programs and supporting daily activities such as communication, social skills, self-help, and crisis intervention, with supervision from a BCBA.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED and experience with individuals with special needs.
• At least 1 year of experience with challenging behaviors; CPI or RBT certification preferred.
• Demonstrates passion for working with individuals with disabilities; strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement behavioral programs and assist with daily activities including communication, social skills, self-help, and crisis intervention.
• Support clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
• Collect and document behavior data aligned with the Behavior Support Plan.
