Job summary

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) to provide direct therapeutic services for patients with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges, under BCBA supervision. The role involves data collection, staff training, and collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams.

Qualified candidates will have a BCaBA license, a Bachelor's degree, and strong communication and ABA knowledge.

Qualifications

Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
Data entry capabilities and comfort with typing
Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism
Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and their application to care and treatment of children with behavioral and developmental concerns

Responsibilities

Provide direct, therapeutic services to patients via parents skills training, direct one-to-one therapy, and/or group social skills training under the supervision of a licensed BCBA.
Communicates and documents any changes in patient's status and informs supervising therapist of patient's reassessment; maintains workspace and assembles materials.
Assist in conducting assessments.
Monitor progress of patient treatment plans.
Supervise ABA Line Technicians.
Implement at-home guidance for parents and caregivers.
