Job summary

Unifi Aviation, LLC is seeking a Supervisor to lead a team of janitorial agents at the airport, coordinating daily duties and ensuring a safe, compliant operation.

Responsibilities include shift planning, training, employee support, and ongoing communication with management. The role requires a High School diploma, 18+ years of age, and a valid driver’s license; aviation experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Must be able to obtain credentials as per airport/state requirements.
• One year of relevant work experience in aviation or ground handling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises a team of agents in janitorial duties and coordinates daily activities.
• Manages shift schedules, training, vacations, breaks, and overtime.
• Addresses employee issues promptly and communicates with the Station Manager.
• Leads shift meetings and mentors staff on safety and policies.
• Ensures safe working conditions and compliance with regulations and company policies.

Job Summary:

Responsible for supervising a team of agents cleaning airport facilities and operating facility cleaning equipment.

Job Duties:

• Supervises a team of agents in janitorial duties and coordinates daily activities to ensure a safe and effective operation.
• Responsible for shift schedule to include work assignments, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations.
• Responds to employee issues or complaints in a timely matter.
• Communicates with the Station Manager concerning any problems or issues.
• Schedules and conducts shift meetings.
• Trains, coaches, counsels, and mentors employees in compliance with station policies.
• Monitors and enforces safe working conditions in accordance with regulatory requirements, Unifi policies and safety procedures, and all applicable laws.
• Promotes and adheres to policies concerning Safety, Anit-Harassment and Equal Employment Opportunity.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill, experience and, capabilities expected for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year of relevant work experience in the aviation or ground handling services industry.

Physical requirements:

• Must be able to frequently lift and carry, greater than 70lbs and constantly lift and carry up to 70 lbs; Constantly push, pull up to 70 lbs; and constantly walk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, & bend.

Working conditions:

• Must be able to work rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends and holidays, overtime.
• Must be able and open to work in outside weather conditions which may include severe seasonal elements.
