Job summary

State of Alaska in Juneau, Anchorage, or Fairbanks is seeking an AASHTOWare Specialist (Transportation Planner 1) to help manage transportation contracts statewide using AASHTOWare Project.

You will analyze data, develop reports, test system changes, train staff, and document improvements while coordinating with contracting and partner agencies.

This is a full-time role with Alaska residency required, salary biweekly between $3,336.75 and $3,503.25, depending on location.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of budget administration and analysis, including budgeting processes.
• Awareness of local, national and international policies affecting the organization.
• Understanding of outdoor design considerations in planning and development.
• Knowledge of moving people or goods by various transport modes and costs.
• Knowledge of transportation system planning, analysis, and engineering concepts.
