Job summary

DMS International seeks an AA&E Range Technician to support US Navy high-risk training evolutions at Gulfport, MS. The role involves maintaining ranges, operating simulators, transporting ammunition, and managing government vehicles and licenses.

You will coordinate with NAVFAC, train personnel for MHE operations, and ensure safety and compliance across facilities and equipment. US citizenship and a high school diploma are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Min. 2 years experience with power/tools welding and metal/wood fabrication.
• Specialized experience in electrical maintenance, carpentry and construction skills.
• Proficiency with computers and basic software.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Must obtain or possess valid licenses (driver, CDL/HAZMAT as applicable).

Responsibilities

• Maintain indoor/outdoor ranges, TTS, TUE, and AA&E storage facilities.
• Operate SAWS and small arms ranges; manage range equipment and vehicles.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance with NAVFAC; manage fleet reports.
• Issue licenses and oversee licensing examinations for drivers and MHE.
• Train personnel on vehicle and MHE operations and safety checks.
• Inventory and requisition tools, equipment, and consumables.
